fivebyfive was built on the idea that fitness journeys can feel daunting to some, so why not make the apparel side of things a little more welcoming and inclusive. It was born out of the desire to be honorable, fair and authentic. fivebyfive was created by Adam and Derek from Australia and New Zealand.
Why fivebyfive? The number 5 represents traits of curiosity, versatility, adventure and an unwillingness to be complacent. We found this to be a wonderful representation of our brand values, and when exploring further, discovered fivebyfive is an old radio communications term where operators would ask recipients to confirm the strength and clarity of the communication. The recipient would reply with "five by five" if it was of perfect strength and perfect clarity.
